Nothing Can Steal Our Joy
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I hope that you all had a blessed celebration of Christmas and that 2013 will be filled with many blessings for you and your families. Last night after I returned from the weekly Prayer Meeting, I sat down to try and catch up on the news. The television was tuned into King 5 and the show Law & Order was on. A man dressed in a Roman Collar sat upon a table and was being interrogated by a police officer. Sure enough, it was a Roman Catholic priest and the police officer immediately began questioning the seal of confession and saying all kinds of negative things about it. When the show revealed that one of the priests fathered a child within his parish, I located the remote control and turned it off. I don't know about you, but I am getting pretty sick and tired of the anti-Catholic bias so present in the media today.
