Powerful Words from Pope Francis

I just listened to the homily of Pope Francis for Pentecost Sunday. He was asked a series of questions from people in preparation for his homily. If you want to get an idea about what Pope Francis is all about, his plan and vision for the Church, then listen to this homily. He shares the beautiful testimony of walking by his parish church at the age of 17 when he heard a voice tell him to go inside for Confession. He obeyed and found a priest there "waiting" for him. It was a powerful experience for him and from that moment on he knew the Lord wanted him to become a priest. I found the video with English translation on the Whispers in the Loggia website. You can go to that website by clicking here.

Joyful Noise Finale

I watched this movie last year on the plane ride to Ireland. Dolly Parton is an incredibly talented person but something about her doesn't look natural. Her lips remind me of the "Joker" in Batman. Still, she sounds great. c
